1. What is a header sidebar?
The header sidebar is a panel that slides out from the side of your store’s header. You can use it to display promotions, seasonal deals, or additional content.
2. How to set up a sidebar on the Header?
STEP 1: Add the Sidebar content block
Under Header settings group > Header section > Add Sidebar content block,
STEP 2: Upload a block of content (banner image, text and CTA button) to the sidebar
Click on the block to open its settings panel
- For media content, upload Image and adjust its ratio.
- For text content, you can enter Heading, Subheading, or further Description.
- For navigation, enter Button label and paste a link to redirect customers.
Note: Each Sidebar content block can include 1 image, text, and a CTA button.
👉 To show more content on the Sidebar, simply add multiple Sidebar content blocks under the Header and set them up the same way.
STEP 3: Make the sidebar display
Click on the Header section, scroll down to the Sidebar settings group, then toggle “Enable sidebar” to make the sidebar display.
STEP 4: Customize the sidebar display
Still at the Sidebar settings group:
- Pick an Icon to display in the header. You can also upload an image to use as an icon - more fun 😝.
- Enter the title shown at the top of the sidebar (e.g., “Check our seasonal deals!”).
STEP 5: Click “Save” when done.
