1. What is B2B Registration Form?
The B2B Registration Form is a section that lets guests and regular customers submit their company and contact details to request a B2B wholesale account.
Once submitted, you can review the request and approve it, giving that customer access to wholesale pricing and B2B ordering features. It can be added to any page in your store.

5. Common Use Cases
🤔 How to set up the B2B registration form section?
STEP 1: Create a page for B2B registration and add the B2B registration form section to it.
STEP 2:
Set the heading and intro text
Click on the B2B registration form section to open its settings panel, then under the Content, edit:
- Heading (default: "B2B account registration"), Heading size, and Heading tag (H1–H6 or p)
- Text - supporting rich text shown under the heading
STEP 3: Customize the button
Set the Button label and Button alignment
STEP 4: Edit the success message
Update the Success message text - this is what customers see after they successfully submit the form.
STEP 5: Click "Save" when done.
🤔 How to customize which fields appear on the form?
Want to control which fields show up on the form, whether they're required, and in what order?
STEP 1: Access the form's blocks
Click on the B2B registration form section in the left sidebar to see all its blocks: Company name, Tax number / VAT, Email, Phone, Contact person,...
STEP 2: Edit a field's label or requirement
Click on any block to open its settings. Most blocks share the same settings:
- Label - the field's display text
STEP 3: Remove or reorder fields
Click a block and select "Remove block", or drag blocks up/down in the sidebar to change the order they appear on the form.
STEP 4: Click "Save" when done.
🤔 How to add a custom field not covered by the ready-made blocks?
Need to collect something the default fields don't cover - like an EIN number, referral source, or preferred contact time? Use the Form item block!
STEP 1: Add the Form item block
Click on the B2B registration form section, click "Add block", search for "Form item", and add it.
STEP 2: Set the label and requirement
Enter a Label for the field and toggle Mark as required if needed.
STEP 3: Choose the input type
Set Form input type to one of:
- Text - a free-text field
- Dropdown - a select list
- Radio button - single choice from visible options
- Checkbox - multiple choice from visible options
- Date
- Time
For Dropdown, Radio button, or Checkbox, enter your choices in Options, separated by a semicolon (e.g. Manufacturer;Distributor;Wholesaler;Retailer).
STEP 4: Click "Save" when done.
🤔 How do I identify B2B registration submissions in my inbox?
Submissions arrive as a standard Shopify contact-form email.
⚠️ The email subject line cannot be customized. It's controlled by Shopify, not the theme, so you won't see a "[B2B Registration]" prefix or similar in the subject. To tell these submissions apart from other contact-form messages, the form includes a hidden field that identifies the submission type — check the email body rather than the subject line.
💡 Note: Approving an applicant is a manual step. After you receive the email, tag the customer in Shopify admin (matching your Approved customer tags) or set their approval metafield, as configured in Theme settings > B2B.
🤔 What if I place more than one form on the same page?
If you place two forms on the same page, submitting one will show the submitted state on both forms. This is standard Shopify contact-form behavior and cannot be changed from the theme, so it's best to keep one form per page.
