Do I need to buy the theme before I can try it?
No - add any preset from the Shopify Theme Store to your account as a draft theme and customize it for as long as you like. You only need to purchase it once you're ready to publish.
Will switching presets affect the customization I've already done?
Switching presets applies that preset's own settings. Before switching, duplicate your current theme so you keep a backup of everything you've customized.
I made changes in the Theme Editor but don't see them on my live site - why?
Changes in the Theme Editor are saved to that theme only. Make sure you're editing the theme you intend to publish, and that it's actually set as your Online Store's active theme.
