Gift wrapping

1. What setup can you do in Gift wrapping?

The Gift Wrapping feature allows you to:

  • Offer customers the option to add gift wrapping to their purchases.
  • Customize the gift wrapping option on product pages and in the cart.
  • Provide a personalized shopping experience for special occasions like birthdays or holidays.

2. Location & Setup

  1. Go to “Online Store” > “Themes” > ”Customize”.
  2. Click the Theme Settings tab.
  3. Go to Gift wrapping.

3. Common Use Cases

🤔 How to add a gift wrapping option to product pages?

Want to let customers add gift wrapping directly when shopping? Here’s how:

STEP 1:
Go to Theme Settings > Gift Wrapping.

STEP 2:
Select your Gift Wrapping Product from the dropdown.

STEP 3:
Enter a label for the product page in the Product Page Label field (e.g., “Gift wrap this product”).

STEP 4:
Add the Gift Wrap block to the Product page template > Product information section.

STEP 5:
Click “Save” when done.

 

🤔 How to display the gift wrapping option in the cart?

Want customers to add gift wrapping at checkout? Here’s how:

STEP 1:
Go to Theme Settings > Gift Wrapping.

STEP 2:
Toggle on Show in Cart.

STEP 3:
Customize the Cart Label text (e.g., “Gift wrap this order”).

STEP 4:
Click “Save” when done.

⚠️ Note: To avoid confusion and errors, offer gift wrap only in one place (either the product page or the cart page).
