2. Location & Setup

  1. Go to “Online Store” > “Themes” > “Customize”.
  2. Click the Theme Settings tab.
  3. Go to SEO.

🔍 Canonical Tags: These are like “preferred page” signs for search engines. They tell search engines which page to focus on if there are similar pages, helping avoid duplicate content issues.

🔍 Schema: A way to label your website for search engines. It helps them understand what your business is about and display details like your store name, logo, and contact info in search results.

🔍 Structured Data: Information added to your website that helps search engines understand your content better. Think of it as giving Google a cheat sheet about your business.

🔍 SERP (Search Engine Results Page): The page you see after searching something on Google or any search engine. Your store’s information can appear here if properly optimized.

5. Common Use Cases

STEP 1:
Go to Theme Settings > SEO.

  • Description: Write a short description of what your store offers (e.g., “Handmade jewelry for all occasions”).
  • Address: Enter your store's location. If you have multiple stores, list all their addresses.
  • Phone Number & Email: Provide a way for customers to contact you.
  • Logo: Upload an image (minimum 112x112px) to represent your brand.

STEP 3:
Click “Save”.
