1. What is Custom Liquid section?

The Custom Liquid section enables you to add custom Liquid code directly into your theme. This section is designed to give you high control over text, products, collection templates, images, or other custom elements, allowing you to tailor your site far beyond the capabilities of standard Shopify settings.

With Custom Liquid, you can:

Display text or HTML content.
Embed products, collections, and other store data dynamically.
Implement advanced customizations.

2. Section Components

Section

Insert custom Liquid code to create tailored content on your theme.

3. Location & Setup

Go to "Online Store" > "Themes" > "Customize"
Select where you want to place it
Click "Add Section"
Search for Custom Liquid
Click on it to add.

🤔 How to set up Custom Liquid section?

Here are the steps for you to set up the section:

STEP 1:

Add the Custom Liquid section.

STEP 2:

On the section setting panel, enter your Liquid code in the Custom Liquid textbox.

STEP 3:

Click “Save”.

🤔 What other customization options can you give your Custom Liquid?

For the whole Custom Liquid section:
✨ Change color scheme:	Click on the Custom Liquid section, and choose the overall scheme you want to use in both light and dark mode in the Color scheme.
✨ Change section width, padding, or add divider:	Click on the Custom Liquid section, and scroll down to the Section layout group to change those settings.
