1. What can you configure in the Products > Log in to view price settings?
- Use case 1: Restrict product prices, the "Add to cart" button, and other cart-related features to only logged-in or B2B customers.
- Use case 2: Apply this restriction to specific products or collections only, instead of your whole store.
- Use case 3: Customize the messages shown to guests and to restricted customers.
2. Location & Setup
- Go to "Online Store" > "Themes" > "Customize".
- Click the Theme Settings tab.
- Go to Products, then scroll down to Log in to view price (below Product comparison).
3. Common Use Cases
🤔 How to restrict prices to logged-in or B2B customers only?Want to hide prices, the Add to cart button, and other cart-related features until a customer logs in - or until they log in with a B2B account? Here's how: STEP 1: In Theme Editor, go to Theme Settings > Products > Log in to view price. STEP 2: Set the Log in to view price dropdown to:
STEP 3: (Optional) To further restrict access to only certain customers, enter one or more tags in Customer tags (comma-separated). Once set, only customers who both meet the option chosen in Step 2 and carry one of these tags can view the restricted content. STEP 4: Click "Save" when done. |
🤔 How to apply this restriction to only specific products or collections?STEP 1: In Theme Settings > Products > Log in to view price, scroll to the Apply to products and Apply to collections settings. ⚠️ Note: By default, the restriction applies to all products in your store. Use these two settings if you only want it applied to specific products or collections.
