1. What setup can you do in Advanced?

The Advanced settings allow you to:

Integrate a product reviews app with the theme’s native product rating system.
Add custom HTML code to the <head> tag of your store for additional site-wide functionality.

2. Location & Setup

Go to “Online Store” > “Themes” > ”Customize”.
Click the Theme Settings tab.
Go to Advanced.

3. Setting group overview

Take a look to see what you have within the Advanced setting:

Group name

Purpose

Product Reviews App

Select a product reviews app to integrate with your theme's native product ratings.

Custom Code

Add custom HTML to enhance your store, such as:

Meta tags for SEO.
Third-party tracking codes (e.g., Google Analytics).
Custom scripts for additional features.

🤔 How to integrate a product reviews app?

Increase customer trust by showing the reviews from the app, just by:

STEP 1:
Go to Theme Settings > Advanced.

STEP 2:
Under Product Reviews App, choose your preferred app from the list:

Judge.me
Loox
Okendo
Stamped.io
Yotpo
Trustoo.io
ReviewXpo
Other (choose “Other” if your app isn’t listed and follow the app's setup instructions)

STEP 3:
Click “Save” when done.

🤔 How to add custom code to the <head> tag?

Want to add custom scripts or tags to your store?

STEP 1:
Go to Theme Settings > Advanced.

STEP 2:
Scroll to Custom Code. Under the HTML for <head> tag field, paste your custom HTML code.

STEP 3:
Click “Save” when done.

5. Common Questions

Q: What happens if the “Other” product reviews app doesn’t work?
A: Some apps may require theme-specific adjustments. Contact our support team for help.

Q: Can I edit the code for a specific page only?
A: The custom code in this section applies site-wide, except on the checkout page. Hence, to edit the code for specific pages, you need to go to that page template, add a Custom liquid section, and edit the HTML/CSS code there.
