⚠️ Note: You can include {qty} in the message to show the current product stock

For example: When the current number of products is > Low stock threshold, and the In stock message is Only {qty} items left.

🤔 How to customize the message for pre-order and out-of-stock (continue selling) products?

STEP 1: Open the settings

In Theme Editor, go to Theme Settings > Products > Inventory status. You'll find two more message fields below Low stock message:

• Out of stock - continue selling message: Shown when a product is out of stock (or unavailable) and Shopify admin's "Continue selling when out of stock" setting is turned on for it. Default: "In stock".
• Pre-order message: Shown when the product qualifies for pre-order, based on your Pre-order theme setting. Default: "In stock".

⚠️ Note: Neither message appears in the mini-cart or cart, since those don't display inventory status at all.

STEP 2: Fill in the personalized message you want for each field. Leave a field blank to fall back to the default "In stock" wording.

STEP 3: Click "Save" when done.

💡 Note: You can also set a text color for each of these messages (light and dark mode) in Theme Settings > Colors > Messages.
