1. What is Fast Order?
The Fast Order section is a bulk-ordering tool built for wholesale buyers who need to order many products at once. Buyers can search for a SKU or product name and add it straight into an ordering table, or upload a CSV file to fill the whole table in one go - then send everything to the cart with a single click.
It's designed to be added to its own page, and shows a sign-in notice rather than the ordering table to anyone who isn't an approved B2B customer.

💡 Note: Only one Fast order section can be added per page.
3. Location & Setup
To add & set up the Fast order section:
- Create the page you want the ordering table on (e.g. "Fast Order").
- Open the Shopify Theme Editor (Online store > Themes > Customize) and select that page.
- Click "Add section".
- Select Fast order.
4. Highlight Features
- Search-to-add: Buyers can type a SKU, product name, or product name + variant to find and add products to the table.
- CSV bulk upload: Buyers can upload a CSV with SKU and quantity to fill the whole table in one action, with a downloadable sample file to guide the format.
- B2B-gated by default: Only approved wholesale accounts see the ordering table, consistent with the existing Quick order list section.
- One-click checkout: Add all to cart sends every valid row to the cart at once.
5. Common Use Cases
🤔 How to set up the Fast order section?
STEP 1: Create a page for fast ordering and add the Fast order section to it.
STEP 2: Configure who can see the ordering table
- Open the Fast order settings panel.
- Leave Only show to B2B customers on (this is the default) so only signed-in, approved wholesale accounts see the table. Retail customers and guests will see the Notice message instead.
STEP 3: Edit the Notice message
Update the Notice message text - this is what retail and guest visitors see in place of the ordering table, and it's a good place to invite them to sign in or apply for a wholesale account.
STEP 4: Set the heading and intro text
Set content for the section:
- Heading (default: "Fast order"), Marker for font highlight, Heading size, Heading tag, and Heading alignment
- Text for further guide (default: "Input SKU/Product name, or upload a CSV file.")
STEP 5: Decide whether to allow CSV uploads
Toggle Allow CSV import on if you want buyers to be able to bulk-fill the table from a spreadsheet, or leave it off to restrict them to manual search-and-add only.
STEP 6: Click "Save" when done.
🤔 How does the CSV upload work?
With Allow CSV import turned on, buyers can upload a CSV file to fill the whole table at once instead of searching product by product.
STEP 1: The buyer downloads the sample file provided in the section, which shows the expected format: one SKU and quantity per row.
STEP 2: The buyer fills in their SKUs and quantities, up to a maximum of 150 rows per file.
STEP 3: The buyer uploads the completed file, and the table populates automatically once the file passes validation.
⚠️ Common CSV errors: The upload will be rejected with an error message if a row has a quantity but no SKU, if the file only contains the header row with no data, or if the header is correct but a row has more than two columns of data. Share the sample file with buyers to help them avoid these.
