1. What is Image with Scrolling Text?
Image with scrolling text section displays a series of content blocks, each pairing its own image with text. The blocks stack one after another and scroll into view as customers move down the page.
This section is useful for walking customers through ingredients, features, or a brand story.

3. Location & Setup
To add & set up the Image with scrolling text section:
- Open the Shopify Theme Editor (Online store > Themes > Customize).
- Decide where you want to place the new section.
- Click "Add section".
- Select Image with scrolling text.
4. Highlight Features
- Paired image and text blocks: each block combines its own image with a subheading, heading, and description, stacking in sequence as customers scroll.
- Up to 8 panels: each with its own image, subheading, heading, description, and optional button.
- Flexible image sizing: fill the column or fix a specific aspect ratio.
- Full light/dark color control: background, heading, text, and buttons all have separate light and dark settings.
5. Step-by-step Setup
🤔 How to set up the section?
STEP 1: Add the section
Add Image with scrolling text.
STEP 2: Add Content blocks
Add up to 8 Content blocks. In each one, set the Image, Subheading, Heading, Description, and CTA button.
STEP 2: Set up image display
Open the section settings panel, set up Image layout, including:
- Image position
- Image size
- Image ratio
STEP 3: Set the content style
Under Content settings group, set Content alignment, Heading tag, Marker, and Heading size - these apply to every block.
STEP 4: Optional background
Add a Desktop background image and Mobile background image, then use Overlay opacity to darken them behind the text. Leave blank to use your theme background color.
STEP 7: Click "Save" when done.
