1. What is the Quick Order List Section?
The Quick Order List section is designed for B2B and volume-focused stores. It displays product variant details (like price and quantity) in a table format directly on the product page. This allows customers to quickly review their selected variants, adjust quantities, and proceed to checkout—ideal for wholesale or multi-item buyers.
2. Step-by-step setup guide
🤔 How to add the Quick Order List section?
- In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes > Customize.
- Navigate to the Product Page template.
- Click Add section > Quick Order List.
- The settings panel will appear on the right side.
🤔 How to control who sees the section?
Only show for B2B customers: The first setting in the section. Default OFF.
- OFF — only signed-in, approved B2B customers see the section; other customers don't see it at all.
- ON — every customer sees the section.
💡 Note: A customer who's tagged but not attached to any B2B company still sees the section using the retail low-stock threshold and retail pricing, not the B2B versions.
🤔 How to choose the layout?
🤔 How to set up inventory and stock display?
Inventory status: Sits after Show SKUs. Default ON.
- ON — shows each variant's status as In stock, Low stock (with the exact count), or Out of stock. Sold-out variants also show "Sold out" and their quantity selector is disabled. Pre-order variants display as Out of stock too. The Low stock threshold and Show quantity behavior come from Theme settings > B2B > B2B low stock.
- OFF — the Inventory status column is hidden entirely.
Show sold out products: Sits after Inventory status.
- ON — out-of-stock variants still show as a row, with the quantity selector disabled.
- OFF — out-of-stock variants are removed from the table entirely.
🤔 How to set up volume pricing?
Volume pricing: Sits after Inventory status. Default ON.
- ON — shows your volume pricing tiers; unit price and line total auto-update as quantity crosses each tier, and roll back if quantity is reduced. Compare-at price is also shown for B2B customers here — this can be hidden independently for B2B via Theme settings > B2B > Show compare-at price, without affecting retail customers.
- OFF — the tier display is hidden, but price still auto-updates correctly behind the scenes when quantity crosses a tier.
Volume pricing display: Sits after Volume pricing, and only shows when Volume pricing is ON. Default Icon.
- Icon — an info icon opens a popover on desktop hover or a bottom sheet on mobile tap, with the currently active tier highlighted.
- Inline — tiers list as chips under the price, with the active tier highlighted.
🤔 How to customize the quantity selector?
🔎 Quantity selector style: Adjust the border style of the picker.
Quantity rules: Sits after Quantity selector style. Default ON.
- ON — shows a "Min: x · Increase: x · Max: x" line under the quantity field, based on the product's quantity rules.
- OFF — the quantity rules line is hidden.
🤔 How to customize the section text?
- Heading: Edit the section title (e.g. “Quick order list”).
- Marker: Add visual emphasis (Underline, Circle, Box, etc.).
-
Subheading & Text: Optional. Use for short instructions or notes.
Heading Tag & Size: Adjust size and HTML tag (H1–H6). - Alignment: Align heading left, center, or right.
🤔 How to choose which products display?
Additional products:
- Pick up to 8 extra products to display alongside the product being viewed, in the same table. Picker order sets the display order; the currently viewed product always appears first.
- To override this list for one specific product, add products to that product's custom.quick_order_additional metafield — if it has a value, it's used instead of the section-wide list (still capped at 8 total).
🤔 How to customize the order summary?
Customize everything about the order summary box:
- Button label: Enter a label for the button (e.g., “View cart”).
- Background color, text color, button colors, and border styles for both light and dark modes.
