1. Add Instagram Feed to Homepage
When finished, click the Save button to save all the settings. Then to add to your Shopify store, click on the Add Feed to the Homepage button.
You will be navigated to the theme customization page. A new app section - a new Instagram feed will be added to the home page.
Note: If the home page already has at least one Instagram feed app section, the button will change to View the theme. By clicking the button, you will be redirected to the theme customization page and no new app section will be added.
To add more feeds, at the theme setup page, navigate to the Apps Section, and select Add block > Apps > OT: Easy Instagram Feed. An Instagram feed that was configured before will show up.
Note:
- You can add multiple app blocks to the current page or various pages (homepage, product pages, etc.)
- The Instagram feeds will update the latest post in real-time. This means that any new post on your Instagram account will appear on the feed instantly.
2. Edit the feed on the storefront
There’s an feed edit section on the right side. Here you can adjust a specific feed to match your theme.
Feed ID: Enter the ID of the feed you want to display on this block. If left blank, the first feed listed in your feed management settings will be displayed.
Title Instagram Feed: Enter the title for that specific feed. Leave it blank to use the title configured at the app configuration before.
Title Color: Pick the color of the title using the color picker or submitting the color code.
Title Size: Change the current feed’s title size. The default value is 40px and the maximum value is 100px.
Description: Add a description for the chosen feed. You can edit the text format, except for the font. The description's font will match the theme's body font. And you can change the description color as well.
Custom code: Edit the feed by adding custom HTML, CSS, or JavaScript code.
Advanced custom code: Add custom code to change the feed's configuration options (?). For this feature, please Contact us.
You can return to the app configuration page by clicking Manage App.
Check the responsiveness of the feed on your store again. Then, click Save to save all the setup. And your Instagram feed is ready to use.
