The Video gallery section allows you to showcase multiple videos in a clean, organized, and visually engaging layout.

1. Section Components

Section Video gallery Display a collection of videos in an engaging layout.
Available block Video Add an individual video to the section.

2. Location & Setup

To add & set up the Video gallery section:

  • Open the Shopify Theme Editor (Online store > Themes > Customize)
  • Decide where you want to place the new section.
  • Click “Add section”.
  • Select “OT: Video gallery (#number of variant)”.

3. Highlight Features

  • Multiple video sources: Upload videos directly or embed them from external URLs for maximum flexibility.
  • Custom thumbnails: Set a thumbnail image to control the look of your video previews.
  • Autoplay option: Enable autoplay for a more dynamic and seamless viewing experience.

🤔 How to set up the Video gallery section?

Here's how to set up the section:

STEP 1: Add the Video gallery section to your desired location

STEP 2: Add videos to the section

Add Video blocks and click on them to open the settings panel:

  • Upload a Video or embed video from URL. 
  • (Optional) Add a thumbnail image for the video.
  • (Optional) Turn on video autoplay.

STEP 3: Customize video display

Open Video gallery section settings panel, then scroll down to Video settings group:

  • Choose the Video layout.
  • Adjust the Corner radius for the videos.

STEP 4: Click “Save” when done.

🤔 How to adjust Video gallery section's look?

STEP 1: Click on the Video gallery section to open its settings panel. 

STEP 2: Customize section header

At Section header settings group, you have options to:

  • Enter Heading and Description.
  • Adjust their size and alignment.

STEP 3: Enable carousel for the section

At Carousel settings group, you have options to:

  • Turn on Enable carousel on desktop.
  • If you want the section to automatically swipe, turn on Enable auto-play.

STEP 4: Customize section layout

At Desktop layout/Mobile layout settings group, you can:

  • For desktop, choose Number of rows and number of videos displayed per row.
  • Adjust section width, content width, or section padding.

STEP 5: Customize section color

At Colors settings group, choose colors for section elements such as background, heading, text...

STEP 6: Click “Save” when done.
